The Salone internazionale del mobile is an incredibly large international furniture show that is hosted every Spring in Milan. The main event is an enormous trade show that is hosted in the Fiera Milano with the Salone Satellite, featuring young/new designers, just a short distance away in the convention center. During this week-long event, an unfathomable amount of design related exhibitions and activities happen all over the city; these are usually referred to as FuoriSalone.

Interaction-Ivrea has hosted an exhibition for the last few years. The 2004 exhibition was quite sizable and was in the Triennale. This year the institute was approached by Italian furniture design company Tecno to co-exhibit with them. The first photo set featured below includes photos from this exhibition, Salone Satellite, and beautiful models from an exhibit of the work of Giovanni Sacchi. The remainder of the photos sum up some walks around town during this crazy week.
